Entry 1: I See You. I Am You.
Come here for a second. Before the next call, before the next showing.
I want to tell you something.
I see you. I am you.
You know that feeling. You're in your car between appointments, or sitting with your coffee, and something in your chest says, there's more for me. Not more stuff. More of you. A bigger version of your business and your life that you can already feel, even if you can't explain it yet.
I feel that every single day.
And I want you to know right up front: I'm not any different than you. I don't come from a long line of self-employed people. Nobody handed me a playbook. I'm figuring it out one step at a time, and I'm still figuring it out. If I can do it, you can do it. I am not made of anything different.
I'm futuristic. That's the core of who I am.
My heart runs ahead of my hands. I can see the whole thing, the business, the agents, the life, long before the pieces are in place. I see it so clearly it almost feels like a memory.
That's a gift. It also has a cost.
When you see that far ahead, there's a gap. The space between what you can see and where you're standing today. And honestly? That gap has felt like shame for me. Like I should be further along. Like I'm behind my own vision.
Maybe you know that one too.
Here's what I've learned. The gap isn't proof you're behind. It's proof you can see. Not everybody can. You can.
And here's my move. I stop measuring myself against the size of the picture, and I take aligned action today. One step that matches the woman I'm becoming. When my actions line up with what I already see, the future stops feeling far away. It starts moving toward me. Try it tonight. Ask yourself, what's one aligned action I took today?
Here's the part I'm working on right now.
Seeing potential is one of my biggest strengths. I look at an agent and I see who they're becoming before they do. I look at an idea and I see where it could go.
But that same strength can hold me back. Sometimes I hold on to what could be longer than I should. An idea. A plan. A direction I love more than it's actually moving.
So the lesson for me is this: potential is an invitation. It's not a promise.
My move? I ask, what's actually happening here? Not what could happen. What is. Then I decide from there. That's not giving up on anything. It's respecting it enough to look at it honestly.
Which brings me to the most practical thing I can give you.
Measure your actions. Not just your results.
Results lag. They show up weeks, sometimes months, after the work. If results are the only thing you look at, you're always reacting to the past. And it's so easy to get stuck in your head, wondering if you're good enough for the future you feel.
Your actions are right in front of you. Conversations. Follow through. Content you put out. People you actually connected with.
What gets tracked gets measured, and we pivot faster.
So this week, pick three actions that matter most for the business you see in your head. Track them every day. On Sunday, look at the numbers as information, not a report card. Change one thing.
You'll feel your future get closer. Not because you hoped harder. Because you can see the steps.
This week, I'm leading from the front. I go first. I make the calls. I make the content. I track my own actions before I ask anyone else to track theirs.
You can lead from the front too, whether you have a team or it's just you. It means you stop waiting for permission. You stop waiting for perfect timing. You start acting like the agent you already know you are.
Being self-employed is one of the biggest self-development paths there is. You have to know who you are when you're hearing all those no's. Every day you show up, track what you did, and adjust, you're becoming that person.
So picture it. Not my future. Yours.
The version of your business you keep feeling in your chest. How you show up. How you walk into your Monday. Who you are when you hear the no's and keep going. Hold that for a second.
That's yours. And every action you track this week is a step toward it.
I see you. I am you.
If any of this landed, message me. Tell me what you're seeing for yourself. I want to hear it. I mean that.
